Post graduate studies
Hi! Today I’m going to talk about a
possible post graduate study. I like the idea of continuing studying after
finishing my degree; continues with my studies in Argentina (possibly in Universidad de la Plata),
Sweden or France. My reasons for continuing studies are to deepen my academic
base to be a researcher with a greater specialty in a certain field. In my
opinion, studying a postgraduate course is of great importance to have a voice
in the current academic debates of Social Work. I like or not, it´s the current
scenery.
I still have not thought about what
specialization to take, but I´m close to post-structuralism studies about the
family, the music, sexuality and social violence. I feel that my interest is linked to these issues;
I hope that my future is productive.
I see myself studying part-time course.
What I still do not know, is the issue of the work while studying. I have two
options: The first one is to work in something related with my career, as a social
worker. The second one is to work in something alternative to my career.
Independent of whether I study abroad or
not, I plan to do my research work in Chile, hoping to contribute to the fight
against structural inequality.
