Hi! Today I’m going to talk about a possible post graduate study. I like the idea of continuing studying after finishing my degree; continues with my studies in Argentina    (possibly in Universidad de la Plata), Sweden or France. My reasons for continuing studies are to deepen my academic base to be a researcher with a greater specialty in a certain field. In my opinion, studying a postgraduate course is of great importance to have a voice in the current academic debates of Social Work. I like or not, it´s the current scenery. I still have not thought about what specialization to take, but I´m close to post-structuralism studies about the family, the music, sexuality and social violence.   I feel that my interest is linked to these issues; I hope that my future is productive. I see myself studying part-time course. What I still do not know, is the issue of the work while studying. I have two options: The first one is to work in something related with my career,...

My favorite animal is the English Bulldog, I really like it because your chubby body and its cheerful character. The old bulldogs have no relation with the actual bulldogs, they were lighter and used sportively.   The current ones were modified with crosses with other races like the pug; race from which the bulldog inherited its flattened snout as well as its chubby musculature. I´ve seen many series, but "Dexter” was the first series that I saw and it marked me quiet. The series is about a forensic specialized in blood spots who works in the Miami police department. But also Dexter is a psychopath that when finished his shift in the police station, seek criminals who have managed to avoid the action of justice and kill them. He´s a serial killer. The series it has eight seasons. The first season was aired in 2006 and the last season was aired in 2013. I think I started seeing it when I twelve years old. My cousin recommended the series and my aunt loaned me some CDs with the different seasons of the series. Is my favorite series because it made a very impact in myself. The pictures, I recognize, was inappropriate to my age, but in the same way, being a very psychological series, it made me questions things I didn´t do before. The series achieves that chapter by chapter, one gets to know the complicated and stormy personality of the protagon...

Most of us, we do not know about our future work. But I think it's important to have an objective to fulfill. Mine is working in Coyhaique as a Social Worker. I really do not know if it affects me to work more or less hours. Assuming that I will be an active researcher. I would have more unofficial work hours. Related in my work practice itself, I would like to focus on the care of the land, because its sale to foreign multinationals is damaging the environment of Coyhaique (as in many other parts). It would also be an option to work in areas of hazard identification. To observe, analyze and attack this danger, thus contributing to a better quality of life in the area. My tools to do so will be unveiled throughout the development of my career. Still, I would like to believe that I will have enough free time to share with my friends and time to visit my parents. I would also like to go to music clubs and climb hills weekly.

Sunday, September 18, 2015. It was not just any day, because after 4 years of waiting, I was finally able to see my favorite band until today. The band in question was System of a Down. They had come for the first time in 2011, but my parents did not let me go because of my young age. That fact affected me too much, and I only hoped that they could come back. The concert was held in the ex-Airport Cerrillos. I went with my cousin, Roberto, who introduced me to the band (changing my life) and my brother, Camilo, who also liked the band a lot. In addition to S.O.A.D. I went to see the Lamb of God band and my brother to Faith no More. It's the best concert, I've been in my life because I could finally see my favorite band, the band played amazing, I spent an unforgettable day with my brother and cousin and I had a moment of maximum emotion when they played the song "Lost in Hollywood "where I must have dehydrated from so many tears that I shed. If i would visit an country, I would like to visit Sweden, because I like to know the Stockholm archipelago, which has 30.000 islands. For me, it would be an adventure to meet the people who live there.   As well, I would like to visit its lush forests. My reasons for visiting Sweden, they are mainly:   the security and admiration that your political system gives me, since they have education, health and free transportation. Then, I could move more easily through the country. Other reason is Stieg Larsson´s book “The Girls With The Dragon Tattoo”, which takes place in Sweden, specifically in Stockholm archipelago. The book generated an interest to me to investigate through different web pages to the country. And, one final reason, is that many death and black metal bands that I love are Swedish, and in their lyrics they talk about their cold and dark forests. I hope one day I can go to Sweden, either as a tourist, as a student, or who knows if I live there....
