English Languages Challenges

Hi all! Today I will write about my experience in these semesters and my plans to learn English. My experience of learning English at university has not been the best, mainly because of my lack of motivation to learn and my lack of willingness to improve. Regarding blogs, they have helped me expand my vocabulary and have also stimulated my ability to think in English. The main aspect that I must improve to learn English is motivation. To take refuge in that I did not have a good teaching of English in my childhood would be to hide my lack of interest. Outside of English classes, I usually practice reading (or trying to read) music and whiskey reviews. Besides looking for translations of songs that make me compare languages directly. My experience in this semester is highlighted by a greater willingness to learn and a greater awareness of the importance of knowing English these days. Changes In My Study Program.

Hi all! Today i will talk about changes in my study program. The truth is that even, the program in my career has seemed right because they introduce well the fundaments and objectives of the career.  The selection of contents is oriented not only to the Social Work, involves a command from all social sciences. This translates into basic capacities for research and social intervention. But, regarding work in groups. I think that being too many members, the objective of learning is lost. But is understood that is because of the many number of students that the review is facilitated in this way. Also, it bothers me that in some subjects continue to be evaluated with tests with alternatives, because these have the intention of developing my critical thinking, and if this is encapsulated in prefixed alternatives, I do not believe that it contributes to the pedagogical end of the career. Opinions

What is your opinion about tattoos? I really like the tattooes; I think that they are a way of expressing art and culture in my body. The tattooes are emotions and memories explicitly. I have six tattoos on my body. In which I reflect my way of thinking, my musical tastes and strong memories. What is your opinion about the Chilean tradition called ‘mechoneo’? I think it´s violent. It is an unfortunate tradition that welcomes new students, in a humiliating way, with the purpose of generated money to make a party for the students themselves (it is assumed). That is, they must "deserve" the party and endure the moral denigration for receive social acceptation. I hope this tradition finally soon. What is your opinion about recycling? What would you do if you won the lottery?

Hi all! It is difficult to describe or define what I would do if the lottery won me, but I consider that my plans in a superficial sense do not differ from the plans of the majority. In other words, travel around the world, invest so that money does not disappear so quickly, etc. Still, I would like to give a philanthropic use to part of the money. Being able to directly help structural deficiencies of vital assets in certain parts of the world. And again focused on me, I would have experiences with expensive drugs, I would go to concerts without limitations, I would try to take lessons on some instrument like a trumpet or sax and I would buy a team to do mountaineering and another kind of extreme sports. It would also be an option to operate on the spine. Post graduate studies

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about a possible post graduate study. I like the idea of continuing studying after finishing my degree; continues with my studies in Argentina    (possibly in Universidad de la Plata), Sweden or France. My reasons for continuing studies are to deepen my academic base to be a researcher with a greater specialty in a certain field. In my opinion, studying a postgraduate course is of great importance to have a voice in the current academic debates of Social Work. I like or not, it´s the current scenery. I still have not thought about what specialization to take, but I´m close to post-structuralism studies about the family, the music, sexuality and social violence.   I feel that my interest is linked to these issues; I hope that my future is productive. I see myself studying part-time course. What I still do not know, is the issue of the work while studying. I have two options: The first one is to work in something related with my career,...

My favorite animal

My favorite animal is the English Bulldog, I really like it because your chubby body and its cheerful character. The old bulldogs have no relation with the actual bulldogs, they were lighter and used sportively.   The current ones were modified with crosses with other races like the pug; race from which the bulldog inherited its flattened snout as well as its chubby musculature. It is characterized by its thick shoulders and a big head in proportion to its body. Usually thick folds of skin on his forehead, followed by black, round and large eyes. It has a short snout with folds above the nose, with a dewlap hanging under the neck, along with drooping lips and pointy teeth. My favorite series.

I´ve seen many series, but "Dexter” was the first series that I saw and it marked me quiet. The series is about a forensic specialized in blood spots who works in the Miami police department. But also Dexter is a psychopath that when finished his shift in the police station, seek criminals who have managed to avoid the action of justice and kill them. He´s a serial killer. The series it has eight seasons. The first season was aired in 2006 and the last season was aired in 2013. I think I started seeing it when I twelve years old. My cousin recommended the series and my aunt loaned me some CDs with the different seasons of the series. Is my favorite series because it made a very impact in myself. The pictures, I recognize, was inappropriate to my age, but in the same way, being a very psychological series, it made me questions things I didn´t do before.
